The other was so eloquent in describing fight scenes in an engaging hilarious way. I never heard of MACE but it sounds like something i would have liked. I have read most of the mens action books and back then i really enjoyed them. For the past few years I have been trying to locate them in ebook. No luck.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03063997940676354331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3701602284718920546.post-77258792265722424882016-02-23T16:18:38.752-06:002016-02-23T16:18:38.752-06:00Actually showing the souls of the bad guys wake up...Actually showing the souls of the bad guys wake up in Hell is a nice touch, although that then makes me want to know what happens to them next! I think he's a complete crackpot, but especially in the DM novels, Rosenberger shows a remarkable amount of research going into his works, and where he makes it up, he actually does a pretty good job of BSing the reader.Jack Badelairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10932441028544500024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3701602284718920546.post-22235284293351824982010-11-07T07:06:30.213-06:002010-11-07T07:06:30.213-06:00I have to say - or admit - to loving the Mace seri...I have to say - or admit - to loving the Mace series. The constant to-ing and fro-ing from "Eastern philosophy" (or, rather, Rosenberger's version of it) to page after page of lurid violence is addictive.

He's got a great turn of phrase, too and some of the almost abstract moments, particularly during fight scenes, really helps this series to stand out.

Karloshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01896197233375045720noreply@blogger.com
